About the Financial Award

Established in 2011, the Bursary is aimed at providing financial assistance to full-time undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law at the Singapore Management University and to motivate them to achieve all-round excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time rising year 2 undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • With demonstrated financial needs (with gross monthly household income not exceeding the prevailing income tiers to qualify for government bursaries)

Tenure and Benefits

  • $10,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fee)
  • Tenable for one year only
  • To complete an internship programme offered by the Donor under mutually agreed terms, if being selected after application submission
  • May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria

Application

Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
