About the Award
Supported by Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore, the IMDA Gold Medal Award is given annually to the best graduating Bachelor of Science (Information Systems), Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) and Bachelor of Science (Software Engineering) students from the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) at the Singapore Management University.
The award will be presented at SMU Commencement Ceremony (SCIS Undergraduate Ceremony).
Eligibility Criteria
The award will be given annually to a top graduating SCIS student, one each year from the Bachelor of Science (Information Systems), Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) and Bachelor of Science (Software Engineering) programmes who best meet the following criteria:
- With excellent academic achievements
- Possesses leadership qualities and/or contribute to the SMU/SCIS in meaningful ways.
The award will only be given if there are candidates of sufficient merit.
Benefits
Cash Prize $2,500
Application
- Applications will be invited annually in Term 2.
- Recipient will be determined by SCIS.
