SMU International Connections (ICON) spearheads initiatives that build friendships between international and local students. It welcomes both international and Singaporean student members, who come together to plan activities for the SMU community to enhance cross-cultural understanding.

At SMU, life begins outside the classroom. With more than 120 students clubs and countless events to be involved in, you can make university days as colourful as you want it to be.
Over the years, SMU students have travelled to more than 150 cities in over 50 different countries! All SMU students will complete a Global Exposure experience prior to graduation. To make sure no student misses out on this precious global experience, SMU is committed to giving global exposure participation an extra push by enhancing financial support and by providing more (and new) opportunities for students.
