About the Donor

Formed in 1972, the Financial Markets Association of Singapore (FMAS) is the standard bearer for financial markets' professionals in Singapore.  Our history has been inextricably linked to Singapore's emergence as a leading financial centre in the world.  We are affiliated to ACI - The Financial Markets Association (ACI FMA), a Paris-based global umbrella body of financial markets associations.

FMAS is pleased to be able to help the less fortunate in our society.  This scholarship is an extension of the FMAS' desire to motivate and encourage undergraduate students in SMU to achieve greater heights of academic and practical excellence.  We hope that in the future, recipients of this scholarship will learn to pay forward and help others who are less privileged.
