About the Financial Award

Established in 2020, the IWA Vidya Scholarship is to motivate outstanding undergraduates at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates in any degree programme
  • Singaporean or Singaporean Permanent Residents, or foreign students from emerging economies in South East Asia (Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and India).
  • Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Demonstrated evidence of family household income (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)

Benefits

  • $6,500 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study
  • Singaporean students may apply for government bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
