About the Financial Award
Established in 2020, the IWA Vidya Scholarship is to motivate outstanding undergraduates at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates in any degree programme
- Singaporean or Singaporean Permanent Resident, or Foreign Student from emerging economies in South East Asia (Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and India).
- Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
- Demonstrated evidence of family household income (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)
Benefits
- $6,500 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
- Tenable for one year of study
Conditions of Award
- Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
- The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
