About the Donor
The Ian and Peony Ferguson Scholarship is established by Mrs Peony Ferguson through The Ian Ferguson Foundation in memory of her husband, Mr Ian Ferguson. Mr Ferguson was a successful entrepreneur from London who spent a large part of his life in Asia. His compassion and optimistic outlook earned him great respect from the people around him and his altruism has benefited many who needed help. Initially named the Ian Ferguson Foundation Scholarship, it was set up in 2004 by Mrs Ferguson through the Ian Ferguson Foundation to continue her husband's legacy in supporting education by providing scholarships to deserving students.
