About the Financial Award
The Kwa Geok Choo Scholarship is made possible by the Kwa Geok Choo Law Library Endowment Fund. Since its establishment in 2011, the scholarship gives recognition to outstanding undergraduate students from the Yong Pung How School of Law.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time incoming freshman enrolled in the Yong Pung How School of Law
- Any nationality
- Excellent academic results at admission
- Outstanding leadership qualities and social skills
- Active involvement in co-curricular activities
Benefits
- $15,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
- One-time $10,000 allowance (to support participation in student activities - exchange programme, summer study programme, overseas internship, community service project (local or abroad), study trip, global issues forum and/or study-related special seminars)
- Tenable for up to 4 study years, subject to continued observance of eligibility criteria, and terms and conditions of award
Conditions of Award
- Must maintain CGPA of 3.7 and above from Year 2 onwards
- The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
