About the Donor
Mr Tan Kwang Hwee established the K H Tan Bursary and Study Awards in 2009 and to-date, over 68 students have benefited from his generosity. Over the years, our alumni and students have forged close friendships with Mr Tan, as he continues to stay connected with many and shares his experiences with them.
The K H Tan Endowed Study Award is made possible with an endowed donation from Mr Tan in 2019. His vision is to encourage the past recipients to give back to the University. He firmly believes that more and more people will step up in giving back, and wants to galvanise the recipients to do so. Mr Tan’s generosity has helped the students to alleviate their financial burden.
