About the Award
Established in 2018, the Kwa Geok Choo Female Trailblazer Award is available to full-time female undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law (YPHSL) at the Singapore Management University, encouraging them to aspire for greater heights of excellence. The award recognises a female law student with good academic results and has demonstrated perseverance and overcoming adversity, financial hardship or other difficulties, or service towards community, or a form of leadership.
The award will be presented at a University-level ceremony or at such other occasion as determined by YPHSL.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time female YPHSL undergraduates in any year of study
- Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Achieved good academic results
- Have demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity, financial hardship or other difficulties, or service towards community, or a form of leadership.

To be considered for the award, you must answer the following questions (minimum 100 words and maximum 200 words).
