About the Award

Established in 2000, the LUXASIA Award recognises top undergraduate students at the Singapore Management University who have shown themselves to possess Vitality(V), Innovativeness(I), and an Enterprising spirit(E).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme proceeding to third or fourth year of study
  • Good academic achievements (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40)
  • Active participation in student and community activities with demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, be exemplary in community service, and is well respected by both peers and professors.
  • Entrepreneurship achievement with demonstrated innovativeness and an enterprising spirit in the organisation of projects for the student body or for the community.

The Award will only be given out if there are candidates of sufficient merit.

Certificate and $2,000 Cash Prize

Application

  • Applications will be invited in Term 2 annually
  • Apply once only during course duration
  • Interested applicants are to supplement their applications with documentary evidence demonstrating the attributes specified
  • Interview is required of shortlisted applicants
