The AGD seeks to fulfill the following public sector strategic outcomes by partnering with other Ministries so as to overcome challenges facing Singapore.

  • Accountability for performance: We perform financial management reporting and financial analysis and set accounting standards for Statutory Boards to ensure that Government agencies are held accountable for their use of resources.
  • Government in time for the future: We anticipate change to always be in time for the future.  Through the use of data analytics, we are able to predict future trends and aid management in its decision-making process.
  • Integrated Government: Our Government financial systems have come a long way in the past decades.  Today, the entire financial process, from budgeting to the generation of reports has been automated.
