About the Award

The David Marshall Prize for Top Student in Criminal Law is given annually to recognise exceptional students pursuing the undergraduate degree in the Yong Pung How School of Law (YPHSL). The award is aimed at encouraging students to attain greater heights of academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

The award will be given annually to a student who best meets the following requirements:

  • Exceptional academic results in the Criminal Law course
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40
  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities
  • Actively involved in co-curricular activities
  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident

The award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

Certificate and $1,500 Cash Prize

Application

Recipient will be determined by YPHSL.
