Doris and Mick Aw Accounting Study Grant

About the Financial Award

Established by Mr Mick Aw, Senior Partner of Moore Stephens Singapore , and Ms Doris Cheok, the grants provide assistance to full-time School of Accountancy undergraduates participating in the Accounting Study Mission (ASM) organised by the School of Accountancy.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in the Bachelor of Accountancy programme
  • Must have gained enrolment into the ASM course.
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Satisfactory academic achievements
  • Priority will be given to students with demonstrated financial need (not exceeding the gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with the prevailing income level for government-funded bursaries) [Priority will be given to students with verified per capita income (PCI) and/or Gross Household Income (GHI)]
  • Have not been the subject of any disciplinary action in SMU

Benefits

  • Up to S$1,000 (cash allowance)
  • Tenable for the approved overseas student programme

Conditions of Award

  • The Recipient must submit a bursary application to validate their household income
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University

Application 

  • Apply via student portal, OASIS > All Apps - Financial Aid Application, using student computer account username and password.
  • Application periods: June (for ASM in Term 1) and December (for ASM in Term 2)
