About the Financial Award

The Saw Swee Hock Scholarship is supported by Professor Saw Swee Hock.

The scholarship is available to local Bachelor of Business Management undergraduates studying full-time at the Singapore Management University, and majoring in the Finance concentration.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time SMU final year BBM (Finance major) undergraduates
  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Good leadership skills & character records
  • Preference will be given to financially needy students (not exceeding the gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with the prevailing income level for government-funded bursaries)

Benefits

  • $6,666 per annum (towards tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study

Conditions of Award

  • Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
