About the Financial Award
Established in 2001, the Scholarship is available to outstanding undergraduates studying full-time at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed at motivating and rewarding academically excellent undergraduate students to achieve greater heights of academic excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time SMU undergraduates in any degree programme and proceeding to their second year of study
- Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident
- Achieved excellent academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40) and leadership potential
- Good character
- Good CCA participation records and/or community service involvement
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese
- Keen interest and knowledge of the local Chinese business
Successful applicants must be prepared to attend an award presentation ceremony organised by the Donor.
Benefits
- $15,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and/or other study-related expenses)
- Tenable for 1 year of study (3 years for recipients proceeding to their second year of studies in the year of award).
- Each recipient will receive a free one-year Associate Student Membership of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
- Each recipient is to write an essay on a topic determined by the Donor (1 in each year for recipients with 3-year award tenure).

- Interview is required of shortlisted applicants
- On the form, complete the mandatory 'Name in Chinese Characters (if applicable)' field. If not applicable, enter 'NA'. Do not leave it blank.

The SCCCF Business Scholarship is supported by the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Established in 1906, SCCCF plays a proactive role in representing the interests of the local business community and contributing to the economic, educational, cultural and community development in Singapore.
