How has your SMU scholarship benefited you so far?

Being an SMU scholar, I was able to embark on the summer programme in Cambridge and gain a lot of valuable life experience which I would not been able to otherwise gain. I was able to immerse myself in the ancient architecture and interesting lessons to further myself not only academically but learn how to manage myself independently.

I am currently on an International Summer Exchange Programme in the UK which allows me to study up to 3 modules, modules that are totally different from what we can find in Singapore and opens my eyes to the different perspectives in the world. It is a life-changing experience because you must learn to manage independently while studying in a new setting and you get to meet people from all over the world.
