Fock Siew Wah CIS Grace Scholarship

Established in 2026, the purpose the Fock Siew Wah CIS Grace Scholarship is to motivate deserving undergraduates at the College of Integrative Studies (CIS) of the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.

• Full-time undergraduate enrolled at College of Integrative Studies (CIS)
• Singapore Citizen
• Good academic achievements (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
• Demonstrated financial need, with per capita income in line with MOE’s prevailing guidelines

• S$8,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
• Tenable for one year of study

• May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
• The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University

This gift reflects the Fock Family’s desire to establish a scholarship in memory of the late Mr Fock Siew Wah, reflecting both deep filial respect and a strong belief in the enduring value of education. The late Mr Fock was widely respected as a towering figure in service to Singapore. He was also well known for his integrity, sense of responsibility, and commitment to contributing positively to society. Through this scholarship, the Fock Family hope to continue the lifelong contributions of the late Mr Fock – lifting others and rewarding excellence. Through this scholarship, the Fock Family ensure that the legacy of the late Mr Fock is not only preserved in memory, but actively lived out - empowering young people to realise their potential and contribute meaningfully to society, just as the late Mr Fock did in his lifetime.
