Gary Kunis Scholarship in Entrepreneurship and Technopreneurship

About the Financial Award

Established in 2014, the Gary Kunis Scholarship in Entrepreneurship and Techlopreneurship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. The objective of the scholarship is to further the study of Entrepreneurship and Technopreneurship in Singapore.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
  • Any nationality
  • Preference for those enrolled in LKCSB’s Entrepreneurship major
  • Have interest in pursuing entrepreneurship career path
  • Preferably have prior or current entrepreneurship experience
  • Possess business and technology background (need not pursue a degree related to technology)
  • Possess acquired knowledge and skills for becoming an entrepreneur

Benefits

  • $15,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study

Conditions of Award

  • To be considered for the scholarship, you must submit a short essay (maximum 300 words) on the following topic:
    o    Personal experience that shaped his/her life values/benefits, and
    o    Past/Current experience at entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship aspirations
     
  • Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
