About the Award
The objective of the Award is to support full-time undergraduates at the University from any discipline, with demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, to embark on overseas internship opportunities under the Global Innovation Immersion Programme in order to allow them to develop a more well-rounded worldview.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates shall be full-time undergraduate students at the University
- Any nationality
- Candidates must be successfully registered in the Global Innovation Immersion Programme organised by the University
- Preference for candidates who have demonstrated financial need throughout the Scholarship’s tenure (not exceeding the gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with the prevailing income level for government-funded bursaries)
- The grant will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit

About the Donor
Grace Lee is a Partner and Group Chief Operating Officer of Qiming Venture Partners, a leading China venture capital firm founded in 2006. She brings extensive experience across venture capital investment, portfolio management, fund operations, and fundraising. She is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Qiming Singapore Office.
Grace joined Qiming in 2009, following senior roles in finance and compliance. Prior to this, she was Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Compliance Officer at C. V. Starr Asia, and earlier worked as an investment professional focusing on private equity and listed securities at PAI Partners and JAFCO Asia. She began her career as an auditor, grounding her leadership in strong financial discipline and governance.
Grace has been recognised for her contributions to the venture capital and private equity industry, including being named among the Top 10 Most Influential CFOs in the China VC/PE Industry. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, and is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as a CFA charter holder.
Grace is passionate about supporting young talent. Through her giving, she hopes to encourage students to ignite their curiosity, passion for learning, and willingness to explore the world through overseas internship experiences that broaden perspectives and shape future leaders.
