About the Donor
This scholarship is made possible from the proceeds of an endowed donation from Mr Kuok Khoon Hong, Chairman and CEO of Wilmar International Limited, which is one of Asia's leading agribusiness group. The intention of the scholarship is to groom individuals with sharp critical intellect, the right foundation and values, and with the aptitude and keenness to contribute to society. Continuing the cycle of giving back, scholarship recipients will be encouraged to pay it forward after graduation by contributing back a pledged sum of the scholarship received, which will in turn be used to fund future scholarships for those in need.
