About the Financial Award
Established in 2026, the scholarship is to motivate outstanding undergraduate students of LKCSB majoring in Finance and enrolled in the Wealth Management Track to achieve greater academic excellence, and to accord appropriate recognition to recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduate student enrolled at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB) majoring in Finance and enrolled in the Wealth Management Track.
- Proceeding to year 3 of study in the year of award
- Singapore Citizen
- Possessed good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40)
Demonstrate leadership and communication skills through active involvement in co-curricular activities and/or community service
Note: Singapore Permanent Residents and international students may be considered. The scholarship quantum for such recipients will be reviewed and awarded at the University's discretion, subject to the availability of eligible candidates
Benefits
- Scholarship Value: S$25,000 per annum (total value of S$50,000 over 2 years), comprising:
- S$12,500 per annum towards tuition fees;
- S$5,000 per academic year as a living allowance; and
- A one-time Global Exposure Grant of S$15,000 to support an overseas exchange programme with a partner university. - Tenable for 2 years
Conditions of Award
- Scholarship recipients are encouraged to participate in the following activities to support the development of a mentoring network:
a. Provide mentorship to junior Scholarship recipients and support the development of their leadership capabilities;
b. Attend, participate in, and support social and mentoring events organised for the Scholarship recipients; and
c. Continue to support such mentoring and networking initiatives for the Scholarship recipients following graduation, where practicable. - The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University

Dr Lillyn Teh is a strong advocate for education as the cornerstone of shaping future pathways for young people. With a background in Finance and Computer Science, and experience as both an academic and an industry practitioner, she brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to solving classic problems and new challenges.
Grateful for the strong support of her parents throughout her educational and professional journey, Dr Teh is committed to giving back by expanding access to quality education that empowers young people to reach their full potential. She believes that education is a powerful catalyst for social mobility and economic progress, and champions meaningful initiatives that foster curiosity, creativity and critical thinking.
Dr Teh taught at two American universities before moving into the private sector, where she managed one of the largest US pension funds. Now happily retired, she remains dedicated to making a meaningful and lasting impact on individuals and communities, helping to shape a brighter future for generations to come.
