"My time at SMU thus far has certainly made me a better person in various ways. The culture of active student participation both academically and recreationally has allowed me to become more confident when interacting and working with others in various settings. The rigorous curriculum has also challenged me intellectually, allowing me to become a more well-rounded student."

What is one thing you were unprepared for about university life that you wish you knew before joining SMU?

The amount of self-discipline and time management I would need to exercise over my schedule when in university. A seminar-based curriculum has given me more time and freedom to pursue activities and opportunities outside the classroom. With this, it became increasingly important to know how to balance my time across my commitments and stay disciplined.

What is your favourite spot on campus?

The School of Law rooftop! It is a nice place to sit and chat with friends, especially in the evenings when there is a nice breeze!

What is your favourite food to get on campus?

Ban Mian outside KGC Law Library
