About the Financial Award

Established in 2019, the Scholarship is available to encourage bright full-time undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law (YPHSL) at the Singapore Management University. It aims to aspire students to greater heights of excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates from YPHSL proceeding to second year of study
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.55)
  • Co-curricular activity records and community service pursuits will be taken into consideration
  • Experienced financial hardships in the family (not exceeding the gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with the prevailing income level for government-funded bursaries)

Benefits

  • $12,500 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and/ or study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for one year of study
  • Singaporean students may apply for government bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
