About the Financial Award

Established in 2022, the AIWM & Azimut Investment Management Bursary is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It aims to motivate outstanding undergraduates, with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time first year undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • With demonstrated evidence of family financial hardships (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)

Benefits

  • $5,000 per year (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for up to four years of study, subject to the recipient’s continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award.

Learning and Development Opportunities

The recipient may be offered internship and/or recruitment opportunity by the Donor under mutually agreed terms.

Conditions of Award

  • May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University

Application

Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
