About the Financial Award

Established in 2021, the Acre Capital Scholarship is available to full-time Singaporean undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  The objective of the Scholarship is to motivate outstanding undergraduates at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to its recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in Lee Kong Chian School of Business, School of Accountancy or School of Economics
  • Singapore Citizen
  • Proceeding to their second or third year of study in the year of award
  • Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Demonstrated financial needs with gross monthly household per capita income not exceeding $1,100

Benefits

  • $12,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study

Conditions of Award

  • May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
