About the Financial Award

Established in 2022, the BPI Enabling Minds Study Award is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It is aimed at providing assistance to financially needy undergraduates at the University, to aspire for greater heights of excellence in spite of adversity and financial hardship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
  • Singapore Citizens
  • Experienced financial hardships in the family (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)

Benefits

  • $8,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study
  • May be in concurrent receipt of a bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.

Application

Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
