About the Donor
With decades of professional experience in the hospitality industry, Edward Chan lived in Hong Kong in the early years of his career and worked in Singapore for a brief stint in the early 2000s, before returning to Hong Kong. Work opportunities brought him once again back to Singapore in 2017, where he has called home ever since. As a string believer in giving back to the community and the benefits of broadening global perspectives, he established this endowed global exposure grant in 2023 to support deserving but financially underprivileged SMU students in their pursuit of a holistic and quality learning experience in Hong Kong.
