About the Financial Award
Established in 2011, the Encompass Bursary is aimed at providing financial assistance to needy full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It seeks to provide needy students with support so that they can pursue all-round excellence in their education.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time first year undergraduates in any degree programme
- Singapore Citizens
- Good academic results
- Excellent CCA and active community involvement
- With demonstrated financial needs (with gross monthly household income not exceeding the prevailing income tiers to qualify for government bursaries)
- Preference for undergraduates from, in the order of, School of Information Systems, Lee Kong Chian School of Business and School of Accountancy.
Benefits
- $8,000 per year (towards subsidised tuition fee)
- Tenable for four years of study (subject to continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award).
- May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
Application
Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
