About the Donor

Mr & Mrs Luke and Stephanie Ng have established the Faith 111 Endowed Study Award with a view that every blessing received is an invitation and responsibility to share and empower others.

The name of the Study Award reflects the donors’ belief that faith is not just a private conviction, but something that should be lived out through action. The number “111” represents the contemplation of one’s calling that culminates in the act of giving which is backed by faith, hope, and love. The repetition of “1” is also symbolic - it gives an imagery of a ripple, the ripple effect of one person’s generosity inspiring another.

The donors hope that this endowed Study Award will not only support students financially, but also make each recipient feel seen, supported, and believed in. Most importantly, they hope these students will feel encouraged to emulate this generosity, and propagate this virtue to others, creating a chain of opportunity that extends well beyond their own journey. In this way, “Faith 111” becomes more than a study award, it becomes a living testament to the meaningful difference one commitment can make.
