About the Financial Award

The Glencore Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates enrolled at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, School of Accountancy, School of Economics, or School of Computing and Information Systems at the Singapore Management University.  It aims to motivate outstanding undergraduates to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, School of Accountancy, School of Economics, or School of Computing and Information Systems
  • Proceeding to third year of study in the year of award
  • Students of any nationalities, with preference for Singaporeans/Permanent Residents.
  • Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and character
  • Active co-curricular activities and community involvement
  • Special consideration for students with demonstrated financial need

Benefits

  • Tenable for one year of academic studies
  • Valued at $30,000
  • The scholarship will offer financial support towards annual tuition fees and other study-related expenses.
