About the Financial Award

Established in 2021, the Linklaters Bursary Fund is available to full-time undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law at the Singapore Management University.  It is aimed at providing assistance to Law undergraduates who are experiencing financial hardships during their course of study. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law 
  • Any nationality
  • Demonstrated evidence of financial need (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)

Tenure and Benefits

  • Up to $8,200 (towards subsidised tuition fee)
  • Tenable for one year of study
  • May be in concurrent receipt of another bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.

Application

Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
