About the Award
Established in 2022, the Originally US Future Information Technology Leader Award is given annually to an outstanding graduating student from the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) at the Singapore Management University, who demonstrates the potential to become a forward-looking IT leader, and to make a difference to the IT industry. It aims to motivate the University's exceptional students' talents from SCIS and spur them to greater heights of holistic excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
The Award will be given to an outstanding graduating student from the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) who:
- demonstrates the potential to become a forward-looking IT leader, and to make a difference to the IT industry
- is active in one of SCIS's student clubs
- possesses outstanding academic performance and embraces Originally US's Core Principles of Innovation, Craftmanship and Trust
- is in relentless pursue of Innovation, able to craft or appreciate cutting-edge technology
- is a trusted figure among friends, families and partners
The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
