About the Award

Established in 2000, the award is given annually to a top graduating Bachelor of Accountancy student at the Singapore Management University.

The Award will be presented at the SMU Commencement Ceremony (SOA Undergraduate Ceremony).

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should meet the following conditions:       

(a) Academic Achievements (50%)

The candidate must be within the top 10% of the graduating Bachelor of Accountancy cohort.

(b) Leadership Achievements (30%)
The candidate must have held leadership appointments in SMU and/or external organisations.

(c) Community Service Achievements (20%)
The candidate must have shown committed involvement in community service/voluntary social work, over and beyond the required curriculum.

The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

Benefits

Certificate, Gold Medal and Cash Prize (totalling $1,750)

Application

  • Applications will be invited in Term 2 annually.
  • Interested applicants must provide documentary evidence of leadership, CCA, and community service involvements.
  • Recipient will be determined by SOA.
