“SMU’s seminar-based lectures are reminiscent of RP’s Problem-based Learning with an emphasis on class participation. For those who are more extroverted, this is the perfect chance to show off your communication and analytical skills, but for those who are more introverted, do not be afraid to speak up in class and take it as an opportunity to learn from peers and hone your communication skills.”

Please share a highlight of your student life at SMU so far.

I have had many opportunities to be a part of different community service programmes, giving me the chance to give back to society while making friends along the way. Being a part of multiple mentoring programmes allows me to share some life experiences and teach soft skills to underprivileged children and that was really rewarding for me.

What is your favourite spot on campus?

Project rooms at Kwa Geok Choo Law Library – quiet spaces to be alone or hang out with friends!

A fun fact about SMU

If you’re around the Yong Pung How School of Law or Fort Canning, be on the lookout for those black roosters!
