About the Donor

Established by an anonymous donor, the Tan Ah Bon and Seow Guan Chye Progress Award aims to recognise good academic progress made by first-year Accountancy students at the Singapore Management University.  The Donor believes that sometimes university life can be very overwhelming for students and therefore, more recognition should be given to students who have made remarkable progress in their academic grades.  Over time, the Donor hopes to form a core group of award winners who are able to pay it forward and help freshmen at the University acclimatize to university life and strive for academic excellence together.
