About the Donor

The Tiffany Kuek Endowed Study Award is established by SMU alumna Tiffany Kuek (BBM, 2015), who hopes that the Study Award will motivate bright undergraduate students at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, and spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence. She believes that no student should be left behind, and that everyone deserves a quality education for the betterment of the lives of the student and his/her family.

With a successful track record in venture capital investing, Tiffany leveraged her experience to pursue her passion for entrepreneurship. She has since founded Kapex Corporate (a corporate advisory and services firm), GVRN (a legal-tech platform) and guided numerous technology start-ups in their go-to-market, operational execution, and fundraising exercises. Her journey in SMU and support by the alumni have prepared her well for her career, and thus hopes that deserving juniors will be similarly rewarded.
