With SMU, I have travelled to…
Last summer, I was really privileged to have the opportunity to head to Philippines for an overseas internship under the Global Innovation Immersion (GII) Programme. It was an extremely fun and enriching experience as I managed to meet lots of locals and immerse myself in their culture. I was able to travel to many locations and try all sorts of food while forging valuable friendships along the way.

My internships so far have been really fruitful in providing me with experience working in a real-world context. I think that internships are extremely valuable and provide great insights into future career trajectories. Even if the internship might not be something I am interested in, at least it has helped me to eliminate one future career path one internship at a time.
