Withers KhattarWong Future Female Leader Award

Established in 2024, the Withers KhattarWong Future Female Leader Award is available to first year full-time female undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law (YPHSL) at the Singapore Management University.  The objective is to motivate and provide the recognition to the University's exceptional female students' talents at YPHSL and spur them to greater heights of academic excellence.

The Award will be presented at a University-level ceremony or at such other occasion as determined by YPHSL.

• Full-time first year female undergraduates at the Yong Pung How School of Law
• Any nationality
• Enrolled in two consecutive regular terms of study
• Achieved good academic results (minimum 3.60 cumulative GPA)
• Demonstration of leadership qualities
• *As part of the process, students must submit their answers to a set of questions (refer to application)

The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

Certificate and $3,600 Cash Prize

• Applications will be invited annually in Term 2.

• What defines (or what makes a strong female leader in the legal sectors?
• What are some of the most important qualities a leader should possess, and do you think there are differences between a male and a female leader?
• Can you describe a time when you had to lead a team or group peers? What was the outcome?
• Which female leader in the legal sector inspires you most? Why?

• Recipient will be determined by YPHSL.
