“I chose to come to SMU because of the Computing & Law degree programme. This course is one of a kind and is not offered by any other university in Singapore. I was drawn to this course because of its unique interdisciplinary nature and my interest in both demanding disciplines. I wanted to pursue an education in a course that allows me to identify multi-disciplinary issues in our fast changing and digitalised society."

Please share a highlight of your student life at SMU.

A key highlight of my student life in SMU would be joining CCAs that I had no experience in, such as Muay Thai and Golf. These CCAs gave me the opportunity to pick up new skills/hobbies while helping me to relieve stress from my studies.

What is your favourite spot on campus?

The Law School rooftop. From the rooftop, one can admire the cityscape of the CBD, especially the mesmerising and calming lights from the buildings at the CBD at night. It is also a great place to wind down and relax after a tiring or challenging class.

Name your favourite class/mod at SMU.

Interaction Design and Prototyping! This module was super hands-on and that made it even more enjoyable because we were able to experience what it was like to propose a technological solution using an application, and at the same time, creatively explore how we can further improve and promote our proposed application.
