About the Award

Established in 2018, the Bird & Bird Prize for the Top Student in IT & The Law aims to motivate the University's exceptional students' talents from the Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor programmes offered by the Yong Phung How School of Law (YPHSL) at the Singapore Management University and to spur them to greater heights of academic excellence.  It provides recognition for the top student in IT & The Law.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Prize will be given to the top law student in IT & The Law, an elective course offered by YPHSL.
  • Factors considered include (but not limited to) the overall course grade and any other factors which demonstrate the student’s all-rounded abilities.

The Prize will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

Benefits

  • Certificate and $1,500 Cash Prize
  • With opportunity to apply for, and if offered, omplete an internship programme offered by the Donor under mutually agreed terms.

Application

Recipient shall be determined by YPHSL.
