“SMU adopts a seminar-style education which makes the whole learning experience more intimate as compared to lecture-style education. Personally, I find that learning in smaller groups tends to facilitate better information retention as instructors can better adjust their teaching pace to the class.”

With SMU, I have travelled to…

In year 1, I embarked on an Overseas Community Service Project (OCSP) in Bandung, Indonesia. This happened before the pandemic hits, so I was still able to do a physical OCSP. I was blessed with the opportunity to engage wonderful and bright students at Bandung and guide them toward their goals.

What is your favourite spot on campus?

I love the Group Study Rooms (GSRs) on campus! It is a very convenient place for group discussions, interviews, and deep-focus work.

Name your favourite class/mod at SMU.

Spreadsheet Modeling and Analytics is one of the most useful modules you can learn at SMU, and I really enjoyed the class. I strongly suggest everyone take this module in their earlier semesters at SMU, so that they can upskill earlier and better contribute to their internships.
