About the Financial Award

Established in 2024, the BIS Merit Scholarship will be awarded to a CIS student pursuing a Bachelor of Integrative Studies. It aims to support enterprising students to forge a unique, inter-disciplinary learning path to ultimately make meaningful impact on communities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time SMU second-year CIS undergraduate student pursuing the Bachelor of Integrative Studies degree programme of any nationality.
  • Good academic performance (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40).
  • Demonstrated excellence in areas of student life and community involvement.
  • A strong record of participation and citizenship within the College. 

Benefits

  • $12,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and/ or study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for three years of study
  • Singaporean students may apply for government bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
