About the Financial Award
Established in 2024, the BIS Merit Scholarship will be awarded to a CIS student pursuing a Bachelor of Integrative Studies. It aims to support enterprising students to forge a unique, inter-disciplinary learning path to ultimately make meaningful impact on communities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time SMU second-year CIS undergraduate student pursuing the Bachelor of Integrative Studies degree programme of any nationality.
- Good academic performance (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40).
- Demonstrated excellence in areas of student life and community involvement.
- A strong record of participation and citizenship within the College.
Benefits
- $12,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
- Tenable for three years of study
Conditions of Award
- Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
- The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
