About the Donor
Chow Jeffrey, MBA(IU), Chartered Wealth Manager (AAFM)
“I give not because I have too much; but because I know how it feels to not have.” Jeffrey was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, neither was he endowed with an extensive network of clients. He started off as a Financial Services Consultant when he was 21 years of age, seeing that it was the only job that would allow him to earn his own keep while managing his studies. Since then, he has managed to smash all records and challenges thrown at him with sheer willpower and hard work. He quickly rose from the ranks to become an agency director of PFP Associates at the mere age of 27.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Jeffrey continues to upgrade himself and his team. To date, he leads a team of over 70 consultants and they are ranked amongst the top three agencies in AIA Singapore.
Although proud of the accomplishments and milestones he has set in the financial services industry, Jeffrey is dedicated to paying it forward. He is passionate about helping others and has always been inspired by the “Pay it Forward” attitude. He has successfully raised more than $500,000 over the past few years for various charitable organisations like the Straits Times Pocket Money Fund and Singapore Disability Sports Council to name a few. This time, he launched the Chow Foo Choon Scholarship in honour of his father who embodies the spirit of giving and inspires him every day. He hopes that the scholarship will ease the financial burden of needy students with good academic results.
