About the Financial Award

Established in 2019, the DBS-SMU Sustainability Initiative aims to deliver engagement excellence across the different platforms in addressing pertinent issues on sustainability and be the touchstone of sustainability distinction.  One of the segments under the Initiative is the DBS Sustainability Business Study Mission, for full-time undergraduate students at the Singapore Management University to visit regional centres of excellence in sustainability.

The DBS Sustainability Business Study Mission Grant, funded by the Initiative, aims to provide financial support to financially-challenged students participating in the study mission.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme and in any year of study
  • Must have gained enrolment into the Sustainability BSM course
  • Any nationality
  • Gross monthly household per capita income not exceeding $2,250
  • Priority will be given to undergraduates who have not embarked on any overseas student programmes
  • Priority will be given to undergraduates who are not in receipt of scholarships/study awards/bursaries

Benefits

  • Up to $1,500 (cash allowance)
  • Tenable for the approved overseas student programme

Application 

•    Applications will be invited between July and August (if course is offered in Term 1) or between December and January (if course is offered in Term 2).
