About the Financial Award

Established in 2017, the Dr Doreen Tan Endowed Entrepreneurship Scholarship is to motivate outstanding undergraduates at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time female undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
  • All nationality
  • Majoring in Entrepreneurship (or its equivalent) at the University
  • Achieved good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Demonstrated financial need throughout the Scholarship’s tenure, in line with MOE’s prevailing criteria

Benefits

  • $14,166 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study

Conditions of Award

  • Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
