About the Donor
The GEOK-ENG Scholarship is made possible by family members of Keng Soon Group. The Donors are descendants of the late Mr Tan Cheng Geok and Mdm Seah Siew Eng , hence the name of the scholarship. They hope this gift will inspire recipients to give back to the community in the future to continue benefitting deserving students in SMU.
“Being a recipient in Academic Year 2013, the scholarship has not only given me financial aid but also supported my pursuits for holistic development by permitting more time for me to commit in CCA and other academic rigors. Paying forward, I would like to contribute by pledging such sums in hopes that future generations of SMU students will continue to benefit from this great cause.”
~ Vince Tan Jun Jie, Past recipient of the GEOK-ENG Scholarship, SMU Alumni, Class of 2015.
