About the Financial Award
The Goh Foundation Scholarship was established in 2005, providing financial assistance to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University, with the objectives to motivate outstanding students with demonstrated financial need to achieve academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to them for their accomplishments.
The scholarship was subsequently re-established as the Goh Foundation Endowed Scholarship in 2009.
Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduate students enrolled in any degree programme and in any year of study
- Singapore Citizens
- Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
- Demonstrated leadership skills and character
- Active co-curricular activities and community involvement
- Must be ethically and socially responsible individuals
- Demonstrated financial need (gross monthly household per capita income not exceeding $2,400)
Benefits
- $13,333 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and study-related expenses)
- Freshman – Tenable for up to 4 years of the recipient’s academic studies, subject to continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award
- Current Student – Tenable for one year. At the expiry of the one-year period, the recipient may re-apply in subsequent year(s) for the same scholarship, subject to continued observance of the eligibility criteria
- The recipient may apply for government bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria

Application
Prospective Students
- Scholarship is awarded once every 4 years. The next award cycle considers applicants commencing studies in AY2027-28
- If you want to be considered for this scholarship, indicate your interest in the Scholarship section of the online admission application. No separate scholarship form is needed
Special consideration is given to applicants with financial needs. After you have submitted your admission application. You are required to submit a separate bursary application form via the Applicant’s Self Service from 1 January 1 to 31 May
