About the Donor

The GSR Foundation envisions a world in which no one is excluded from participating in, or benefitting from, the advancement of technology and its role in progress. Established by GSR, a global cryptocurrency trading firm, as an independent charity in the United Kingdom, the GSR Foundation makes grants to excellent non-profits in furtherance of this vision. The GSR Foundation Overseas Exchange Grant thus aims to enable deserving undergraduate students facing financial hardships from the School of Computing & Information Systems at SMU to embark on semester-long exchange programmes with partner universities in Asia, helping them to become more well-rounded individuals with global worldviews.
