About the Donor

The late Madam Chua did not attend university as she left school after her "O" levels to support her family.  A proud mother of two children, she suffered from heart failure and passed away in 2008 at the age of 42.  During her years of fighting the illness, she showed remarkable courage and fortitude, which her family hopes will serve as an inspiration to future generations of SMU students.
