About the Financial Award
The Isetan Foundation Endowed Scholarship is established by the Isetan Foundation to assist deserving full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Management at the Singapore Management University (SMU).
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates currently enrolled in the BBM programme
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
- Demonstrated active involvement and commitment in community service (eg volunteer and charity work)
- Evidence of financial hardships in the family
Benefits
- $10,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
- Tenable for one year of study
Conditions of Award
- At the expiry of the one-year period, the recipient may apply in the subsequent year(s) for the same scholarship if he/she satisfies the necessary conditions
- Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
- The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
